How to Write a Research Paper in MLA Format

Now among the many report writing formats in which you will have produce research papers is the MLA format. This article provides a summary of the basic guidelines of how to write a research paper in MLA format. A margin of an inch has to be left around all four corners of the text. Each paragraph should be indented half an inch and all quotations should begin after an inch of indentation from the left.

Quotations, notes and the list of references sited must all be double spaced. A title page is not a requirement in the MLA report format. In top left margin of the first page the authors name and the person to whom the reports is submitted name with organization or course name must be presented in double space. After this you present the title in centered justification.  The page numbers must be displayed in the top right corner an inch and a half from the edge.
